Devil's Fingers fungus (Clathrus archeri) and sometimes referred to as the Octopus stinkhorn and Squid Fungus. As it grows it’s tentacle-like arms start to protrude from its slimy, gelatinous 'egg'. Growing on heathland in November at Lyndhurst, in the New Forest United Kingdom
