Peppered Moth larvae (Biston Betularia) Parasitic grubs emerging from inside a living Peppered moth, and Parasite grubs spinning silk cocoons. The eggs were injected into the body of the host by a parasitic wasp, keeping the caterpillar alive. After spinning their cocoons they will fall to the floor the moth caterpillar will eventually die.
